2) How to maintain your stretch cover?
How to care for a chair cover
Washing
All of our chair covers are fully machine washable (30°C recommended) or hand washable. The most optimal way will be to use a gentle washing program suitable for delicate linens, setting the spin speed to the minimum.
We recommend washing your cover before its first use, making sure to separate light and dark colours.
Do not use chlorine or bleach when washing, this may damage the colors and patterns of your chair cover.
In the case of a very dirty cover, it is necessary to treat the stains beforehand so that the dirt does not persist.
Drying
We advise you not to use a tumble dryer when drying your cover. Its high-quality stretch fabric is designed to dry quickly . After washing, hang your cover to air dry.
The cover should not be put back on a chair when it is wet as this could damage your chair or stool.
If possible, dry horizontally and remember to turn your chair cover over regularly to ensure optimal and uniform drying .
Ironing
If you want to iron your chair cover, be careful not to exceed a maximum temperature of 200°C. However, ironing is not mandatory. The fabric that makes up our chair covers is designed to regain its shape and avoid creases .
Caring for a sofa cover
Washing
Our sofa covers are washable and reusable . Washing can be done in the washing machine or by hand. We recommend not to exceed a temperature of 30°C. The best solution will be to use a gentle program, as for cleaning delicate fabrics. The spin cycle should be set to the minimum speed.
Upon receipt of your cover and before using it, it is advisable, as with all textiles, to clean it. During this first cleaning, do not forget to separate light colors from dark colors.
Bleach and chlorine should not be used when washing. They could irreparably damage the colors and patterns of your sofa cover.
If your cover is very dirty, you will need to consider treating the stains before washing so that they do not persist.
Drying
It is recommended not to use a tumble dryer to dry your cover after washing. Our sofa covers are made of high-quality stretch fabric that ensures quick drying . It is therefore advisable to simply hang your sofa cover in the open air.
Be careful not to put the cover back on your sofa when it is still wet. Moisture could damage your sofa, armchair, sofa bed or BZ bench.
If possible, dry horizontally, on a table for example, and remember to turn the sofa cover over after a while to ensure an even and complete level of drying .
Ironing
Our sofa covers do not require ironing. Indeed, their high-quality composition allows the cover to regain its shape while avoiding creasing and folding . However, if you wish to iron, please do not exceed a maximum temperature of 200°C.
